Default lowering and camber???

I want to lower my daily driver like 1-1.5" will that cause any camber issues??
and if I use stock shocks/dampers will it be bouncy?? what springs are best for this application?

the camber won't be a problem. make sure you get an alignment afterwards though, to get the toe settings back to spec.

a lot of people here use tein s-tech springs with stock shocks

Tien S-Techs = a little under 2" drop, depending on year
Tien H-Techs = a little over 1" drop, depending on year

Both are designed for stock shocks.I don't think it'll be bouncy on the stocks... after all, the stock shocks are designed for springs with more suspension travel, so they'll be soft.

i got the exact drop you want on my 99 civic. tanabe offers a stiff spring that is a 1.5 in the front and 1 in the back. My 99 is my daily driver. I put a camber kit on mine and i don't think it made much difference. you should be ok without a camber kit.

I just installed some H techs and kyb gr2s with upper strut bars and it made a WORLD of difference. Of course, my suspension was really shot at 248K so I guess anything was better, but my buddy who helped me was even impressed with the smooth ride...Drop looks perfect in my opinion, some people can tell, some cant. just did the washer trick to fix the rear camber...S techs look really nice too cant go wrong w/ that setup though it will look more slammed for sure. I just didnt go s techs b/c I needed a little bit of clearance getting in and out of some places...

thanks for the feedback!
I saw a classified ad for HR springs and tokico gas shocks for $250...I'm tempted, but think it'll be too stiff for every day...
any thoughts are appreciated...

Do H&R race springs, They have the lower stance. 2.75" in front & 2.25" in the rear.

Also, I have some H&R race springs for 92-95 civic for sale. Only problem is i only have 3 of them haha. Get a cheap coilover and you got it made $75 shipped.

I thought just getting lowering springs will ruin your shocks even quicker and is better just to go ahead and switch out the shocks and springs at the same time.I had a post like this a while back.
