Default Lowering my civic??

I have a 95 civic and it has 18' konig rims on it, I was wondering if my rims are to big in order to get my car lowered properly to avoid the rubbing and what not....Any help would greatly be appreciated... thatnks!

Well, with 18's you're probably going to have some rubbing issues if you lower it... but it really depends on your tire size (with 18's, it'll probably rub no matter what, though) and how low you want to drop it. I dropped my '94 with 17's about 2.5" or 3" (coilovers... you never know how much you actually dropped your car lol) with only minor rubbing issues (they only rub when I turn hard at low speeds or hit a bump at low speeds)

*edit: oh, welcome to the forum, btw

I'd say go ahead with the lowering... there's plenty of people out there rocking 18's and a drop

do you have a photobucket account or anything that you're trying to transfer from? Because if so, click the picture icon on the far right above the text box and just copy/paste the url of the image there.

And I have Ground Control coilover sleeves and KYB AGX shocks and I absolutely love them. I'd say going with coilovers would be a good idea since you don't know how low you can go without rubbing.

18's are pretty huge man, after a stiffer suspension setup, you'll probably regret the way the ride feels. Can you post up some pics, I'm curious to see what the car looks like.

Welcome to the forum!
