i'm just wondering if $900 is a good price for a b18c with type-r internals with a gsr head. and for the tranny that goes with it $500.

get a compression test done on it before you actually buy it. this will tell you if its good or not. if the engine is in good shape, id go ahead and do it.

ls vtec is non vtec block (b18a/b) with a b series vtechead, I'm not sure what you call that^ combination. But like aryiman said, compression test it, ask if it burns oil, and get as many details about its history as you can before spending any money
