RE: ls/vtec question

thats seems like a good deal. My friend was selling his ls/vtec and it was just a stock ls bottom end with a stock b16 head for 800 bucks.

RE: ls/vtec question

I would not run it in a car but it is worth it because of the head, cams, clutch, and ecu setup. You just dont run stock bearings with a ls/vtec or a cr/vtec.

BTW where ya been man?

RE: ls/vtec question

i started school and got a new job, so i have school from 8am-12 every day and work from 3pm-12 5 days a week, so i've been really busy. i've been reading up on turbos, trying to decide if i want a turbo D, nitrous D, or swap a B... i'm really torn right now, but i think my 03 is sold wednesday, so i'll have some toy money... have you seen my new toy? https://www.hondacivicforum.com/m_49..._1/key_/tm.htm ... how much would it cost to upgrade the bearings?

RE: ls/vtec question

Not much really but in my opinion it in general is not cool to run something that someone else has built because you never really know what is in it and for you to find out you would need to tear it apart. If you tear it apart you are right where you would have been if you were building your own engine. But also like I said it is a good deal from what you have said about it.

Either way man decide on what is right for you and it is good to see ya on the forum.
