first off i want to ask, is it pronounced mEgan or maygen like the girls name...

ok now i was wondering, how reliable is this company. I see how their prices are so low and thats coming from the company site. $379 for a catback shipped, $169 for stainless steel headers shipped and so on. Is this company new or something? i see their headers are not street legal, but what makes this companys products so cheap?

R&D (or lack thereof), build quality and origin of manufacture.

Megan Racing is produced overseas in asia, which is why they cost so much less than U.S. components. Think "made in taiwan."

That said, Megan Racing makes some genuinely good products for the money.

It's not up to par to stuff like Mugen, Hytech or HKS but it's still quite decent for the money.

Some doods swear by the stuff. Others hate it.

eh, if you want it. buy it.

HKS makes race quality stuff. it's also EXPENSIVE.

that's why you'll always see more Megan Racing stuff than HKS.

HKS's power getter exhausts are top notch.

yes. they're basically HKS's version of an N1-style racing exhaust, but they're a little quieter than say a DC Sports version.

HKS is basically comptech-level racing products.

eh, my mistake.

i was thinking of the fujitsubo powergetter exhaust, which is equally expensive but a lot less noisey. it's freaking huge though.

i guess im kinda tired at 3:15 a.m. Eastern time. lol.

still, the HKS hi power exhaust is their interpretation of N1/Japanese GT style racing mufflers.

they're pretty schweeet.

BTW, fujitsubo exhausts are just as desirable in my book...
