Default Mini me quEstion

I have a question I can't find an answer to
I see alot kof ppl talking about a mini me swap and was wondering if it was only good if u had a non vtec engine
I have a complete y8 and a z6 also have the y7 and b7 bottoms
would I be better off staying with my complete motor or doing a non vtec bottom with a vtechead

Thank u all for any advice that is offered

just keep the whole vtec engine that will normally run better and last longer the nonv bottom ends werent meant to rev as high as the vtec

the z6 is a pretty good engine. the y8 oil pump isnt the best...
and to rev that far are you doin any work to the engine??

yea please dont rev it that high stock youll eventually kill the engine
and i believe the y8 intake manifold flows better so you could use the y8 intake mani with the z6 on the P28 ecu

y8 and the z6 are just about the same thing
best to go with is
1: z6 head on b7 block (will have good high compression)
2: full z6 and just build it a little.(rods, bearings, cam) or turbo it
and go with the y8 intake manifold on which ever motor you put.

S300 ecu header an a 75 shot nitrous
I'm trying to get more torque an a little more top end out of the car I read a
post guy said his z6 mini me ran like a stock b16a if this is correct
tehen I may do the swap I'm just trying to get more insight as far as what is better
