Arrow Mini-Me Swap~!

where is the link to it? can't find it used search too, thanks.

EDIT:It's for a 96-00 Civic thanks, not the Honda-Tech one for the 92-95

EDIT2:Sorry, forgot to Google search found it http://www.jdmuniverse.com/forums/ho...-write-up.html

EDIT3:Okay, in that link its saying in doing a Mini Me Swap it requires the whole y8 intake mani as well. Can't the y7 just have the vtec solenoid on it and it should work with the wiring done to it?

you dont have to use the y8 intake manifold the y7 im will work, its just the y8 im is a gain, all you need is the y8 head, obd2a vtec ecu, knock sensor, y8 dizzy,. and run your own wires to the ecu.
you can use a y8 head gasket for one its cheapier,2 its metal, 3 it will give you higher compression, also get a y8 timing belt. and you should be good to go.

hey man you posted for me time to help you out. if your gona swap do it right i did a y8 head to my 1.5L 2 day ago it runs grate. there are some things to look out for tho. make sure that you pull out the oil jet plug. the best way to take is out is get a wood screw and twist it in the top and pull it out. all so the the timing belt, your old one will fit but the y8 is one tooth bigger so if you done wana your civic crying at high rpm swap belts. go with a p28 ecu and if you want the vtec to really be nice chipped ecu is the way to go. just make sure if you buy a ecu that you know what tranny it is good for mt/at are two different ecus. i ran in to some other problems of my own but i got it all going if you have any questions pm me or just post it up. o two there things i found are that the stock pipes and stock injectors just didn't cut it for me lol it was sooo worth the extra cash to go a bit bigger.

converting to obd1 is a good thing, 1 less oxygen sensor, no knock sensor, no fuel tank sensor, and a few others.

i was just saying that idk about cali's rules and inspections
