wat up, i have a 96 civic coupe with some mods like intake, exhaust, spark plug wires, throttle body spacer, but its an automatic. Yeah i kno, sucks! But its a D16Y8 1.6L v-tec SOHC. What else could i do for more horsepower??

 

cam, intake manifold, throttle body, cam gears. port and polish on the head if you have the money. do you want to go turbo or keep it n/a?

 

header if u dont want a turbo. bigger TB. high-flow cat.

 

Build that sumbitch'. Then boost it.

check to see if the floormats are stuck under the gas pedal... happened to me BIG difference it will feel like you got tons more power jsut by moving the floormat lol

 

if you want to keep it an auto, look into a higher rpm torque converter, you can get a better jump off the line with one, but it will cost you two arms a foot and 3 toes to get one J/K but they are expensive. otherwise just go with a header and cam and tune the ecu
