You have a lot of choices I would think. B/H/F/K series should all fit, it just depends on the amount of money/time you want to spend.

How much money do you want to spend on this swap? How much power are you looking to get? Do you have future plans for building the motor (i.e. turbo, all motor, or just leaving it as is)?

Keep saving. You might be able to find a complete B16 swap for $2k. My H swap has cost me about $4k so far already.

mmm k24 with k20 head with built internals and a nice turbo is always nasty! and expensive as hell!

why doesn't anyone else see the money saved in using an f23 bottom end with an h22 top end and building that up with either k20 pistons or just putting h22 forged rods and going turbo! 250 stock hp from the g23 swap with k20 pistons. AND THE BLOCK HAS NO PROBLEM MAKING OVER 450HP! even without a stroker crank you have a lot of bottom end torque and with the h22 head you can rev higher and make more top end power!
and a g23 will smoke a k20, k24 or a combo for the money!
on top of that theres a lot less people doing the g23 swap but the parts are readily available because all you have to do is get 2 oil ports filled in the h22 head and take the h22 water pump gear and get it pressed into the f23 water pump!

now think about an f/h2b kit for a d16 tranny or a type r tranny and you've got something seriously fun!
