Default My 92 Bubble

It's gone. I always thought it would be stolen but the other day a guy in a truck on his cell totaled me. I'm busted up, the car is worse. I always knew it was worth more than book from the offers I kept getting. 125K miles, 5spd, was clean except for the typical rear wheel well rust (small amount). The car was fast (no p/s or a/c), burned no oil. Never gave me a hint of trouble. So I'm sure the guy's insurance is going to offer me nothing to total it. Can I fight it out and ask for the street value? And what would you estimate that to be? Thanks much. I loved that car.

No way you have any luck with this one. Insurance company will gladly total your car, give you no money and call it a day.

I have pics but they are not digitized. If you were to find a clean 92 bubble with 125k AND 5spd that hasn't been messed with (besides the Borbet Mags), what would you estimate the street value or if you had one, what would you sell it for? I'm still going to fight it out with the insurance adjuster on Mon and will not accept a lowball offer. Maybe take the guy that hit me while on his cell phone to small claims court?

It might be worth saving if I could do the work myself but I'm in traction every day and my back & neck are as totaled as the car.
