My car won't start, dunno WHY?

Default My car won't start, dunno WHY?

I have an 89 civic SI, i have change just about everything on the car, repolished head, new distributor, new fuel pump, new fuel filter, new plugs and cables, new belt, but it just doesnt seem to start. It turns over but wont start. Can anybody help me please!!

i know u said u have new spark plugs and wires, but r u sure ur getting spark? if its turning over constantly without catching, u probably dont have spark or fuel. are u positive that both are there?

make sure you put in your distributor correctly, since you said you installed a new one.

I did that and the firing order is correct.

have u checked the timing. a friend of mines car did that to and his timing had jumped.
