Ok my parents just bought me a 2002 Honda Civic LX. If im not mistaken it has a D17A1. Well the car is white but under the hood and the interior i think im gonna go blue. So what i need to know is what are some simple, yet neat looking paintjobs i can do? Im about to paint the plastic top piece that is black, with some hi temp white, them coat it with blue. Also Im getting some blue wires, I have a blue air cone. I also want to pain the fuse box (i think it is) blue too. I dont really wanna go to crazy, but just make it look nice. Throw me some of your guys opinions.

Blue vac hoses, wouldn't do much more than that.

 

1. clean the entire engine bay really well
2. paint the valve cover
3. stop

 

Save your pennies and buy performance parts like a cold air (or short ram) intake, strut bars, headers, high flow cat, cat-back exhaust, better suspension, quality short shifter, etc.

You're not going to give a crap how that car looks if it's not fun to drive.

 

i guarantee if you start painting stuff you will not like it in a couple of years, heck maybe even a couple of months.
