Oh and I have all of you beat... When I was swapping over my parts from my old Civic to my del Sol, I started the Civic's engine with no manifold just to hear what it sounded like. Loud as hell.

 

yea but you didnt have to drive it like that... i do.

 

Uh, I drove open header for a week when I got my del Sol. My exhaust had to be trimmed to fit and the exhaust shop was fully booked for a few days.

 

open header is nowhere annoying as this extremely loud fart can. i wish i could record it and post it. its so loud it echoes from the mtn.

 

You must be joking. Open header is loud as hell.

 

Speaking of loud exhaust... I was working on my girlfriends grand am this last weekend. The exhaust manifold had a coat hanger wrapped all around it. I cut it and the fecking exhaust pipe fell. Was broken right where it meets the manifold. No matter how many times I tried to duplicate the previous owners ingenuity it was loud as hell and the noise just resonated and echoed through my carport. Finally I gave up and got a buddy of mine to weld it.

 

my point is its not as annoying. i rather hear open header than a really really loud raspy fart can.

 

I used to have a fart can. It's nowhere near as annoying as open DP. That entire week, I could not even hear myself think while driving.

 

Bahahahahahahaha I have an annoying rattle sound coming from my exhaust I gave to locate the source of.... get tha ***** off me kthx
