Default Need advice...

is it a good idea to get an oil pan for my car from the junkyard or should i buy it new? i need to replace mine. it costs 70 bucks new at the autoparts store not including the rubber gasket, it'll be between 90-100 bucks for both with tax...

I don't see why not, unless the one on the junked Civic is damaged in anyways.

What motor do you have?

I agree.. if the used one is in good shape and isn't broke or messed up just buy that one.. I could get a used one at junkyards around here for 40 bucks.. saves you a lot of money to spend on something else.

I have one also, $15 plus shipping, can probably do $25 shipped

Couple scrapes on the bottom, no dents

Oh, and I don't mean to try to steal your potential sale cvcrcr99, just trying to get rid of mine as well.
