Default Need Advice on Using Braided Heat Shrink for Hose Protection

Hey everyone,

I'm looking into using braided heat shrink sleeving to protect some AN fuel and oil lines in my engine bay. I've seen products that offer both abrasion resistance and a clean look once heated, but I’m not sure how well they hold up in high-temp or high-vibration environments.

Has anyone here used braided heat shrink for motorsport or street builds? Does it stay secure over time, or are there better alternatives for long-term durability?

I’d appreciate any feedback or tips on brands, installation methods, or things to watch out for.
