Need Help posting PICS

Default Need Help posting PICS

So we went to a car show this weekend and i finally took a few pics of the civic. However every time I try to Embed them into a post it says photos are to large I have tried everything that I know to do I need some help.

size them down (I usually do my pics at 486x365 pixels) and upload them to a photo-sharing host (photobucket, etc)... then, use the add image button (the yellow landscape with the mountain on the far right above the text box) and past the image's url there.

Ok the thing that I can not find out how to do is size them down.I do not have photobucket. when ever i pull them up in my email(my friend took the pictures) and they are the size he sent them to me in and i can not get them sized down.

Open the email containing the pictures - then Right clickthe pictures inside the email and choose - save picture as - give it a filename and save it to your computer. Then open the picture in MS paint, MS photoeditor, windows picture and fax viewer, or a similar program. You can crop/resize your photos and then resave them with a different filename (so you still have the full size originals). Then go to photobucket.com or imageshack.usand register a free account. Upload your reduced file size photos to their site and then you insert the link to the pic in your post.
