Default New Car, please help

hey guys, didnt know where else to post this but i'm looking for some advice... I'm currently looking into buying this 94 gsr near my house. Its black, tinted, lowered 2.5" on dropzone (havent heard great things about dropzone), aem cold air intake, dc-sport headers, full tsudo 2.5" exhaust with test pipe, gsr blades, cloth interior, 5 speed, 140,00 miles, a few door dings, but good looking paint and no rust.
He said he has had no problems since he bought it. He did say the pistons and rings were redone due to hydrolocking (sucking water in the cold air intake). That was done at 100,000 miles. I have not yet test driven the car... I am going to tonight, but I'm getting the money together and he told me 4800 for it... I'm just looking to see what you guys think about that price for that car. Let me know, thanks, appreciate your input.

he had it posted for 5500, i talked him down to 4800... i test drove it tonight.. the thing is sweet. I shifted at high rpm's, and downshifted through all the gears to check my synchro's, all smooth... vtec was powerful, the car handles really good, really tight. no rust at all on it, some small door dings, and a crack in the top glass panel of the sunroof, and the clear coat is peeling on the spoiler, but other than that its really clean. I'm giving a $500 deposit tomorrow. Thanks for the advice guys.

yeah so i'm kinda pissed.... test drove it yesterday and told him on my way home from work today i would get the 500 for the deposit for him... he agreed. So i'm on my way home, get the money... and i'm about 2 miles from his job to give him the deposit and he calls me to tell me he got an offer for 5100. I cant do that right now, so i had to pass up on it, but that was really ballsy of him to do considering we had a verbal agreement. I could go beat the crap out of him then his car haha then yell as i'm leaving... "SELL THAT!!!!!!!"
