after i graduate from boot camp and tech school and get settled i plan on swapping out the sohc-t motor with some dohc fully built turbo motor...however, there are a lot of good honda motors to choose from obviously, so what do you all think..i need some good suggestions..right now im leaning towards B20 built and turbo..but id love to go K20..(who wouldnt). so what you all think?[/align]

 

Why a B20?

 

dunno, have always liked the b20 vtec motor for some reason.

 

don't put in a DOHC fully built turbo setup, that'll throw off the entire balance of the car.

that's what i was shooting for

 

i would put in a b16a2 built for a turbo'd civic just because they like boost where as the b18c doesnt. there are some other b series motors to pick from like the b20 or the b18 that would be idea motors for boost.

yeah a guy that lives around my area here has a boosted b20 and makes around 540hp, thats enough for me...for a little while at least...lol

 

Go for B something, id either go b16a2 or b18c5. K's are still to expensive to be worth it imo.
