good god. these parts were not cheap. i am also not reaping any rewards (hp or lb/ft wise) from buying them. sure are purrrrrty tho. i likes purples....

what brand cam gears did you end up getting?

 

thx for thr props everybody! the cam gears are manufactured by vision. i am trying to get a contrast thats noticeable. i wasnt trying to tie the car together, more like seperate it. i am painting the valve cover to match the car. the purple looks drastic against the green. just want it to pop, ya know? btw, benen fuel rail, blox racing cam seal, and vision cam gears. like $225 woth of stuff that made no difference, except to me! and they match the zex controller and nozzles...

 

I actually kinda like the subtle purple engine bay stuff with the teal color on the car

thx everyone. im sure im not the first to have done it, but theres not another civic around with those colors. trying to be just slightly different. somebody makes a purple throttle body, but i think that may be a bit much. i believe im done, with the exception of maybe one of those kits that replaces minor under hood bolts and nuts with anodized ones. theyre pretty steep tho. i think about $120. i'll post more pics if i change anything else...

 

if you want more ideas, PWJDM has some stuff in purple.

P.S., a word of advice... for fender washers, get the long ones. They will work for pretty much anything you would use them on... I found the short ones to be too short for anything other than the three fender bolts on each side of the bay.
