Default Next car

I've been posting alot over the alst six months about what to do with my current Civic, and what cars I want to look at getting. I narrowed it all down to an Integra, the 94-01 generation, because of the hatchback awesomeness. (Which I need to haul around music equipment.)
It's pretty likely I will get an LS, but I was just wondering, are all LS VTEC? And if not, should I really go out of my way to find one that is VTEC? Thanks in advance.

in b18b (ls) motor is nice though. its a 2.2 with alot of torque, you can swap heads on one for those. For a b16 head and b16 ecu and wire up vtec and have one hell of a machine.

ok some clarification

B18B (Acura Integra LS) is not a VTEC enabled DOHC engine from Honda. There are a lot of people who swap a head from a B16 or another B18 engine onto the LS block to give it VTEC.

Oddly, if it's a head from a B18, it's a "mini-me" swap, but if it's a head from a B16, it's a "frankenstein" engine.

the LS is a nice 1.8 L engine regardless

please stop spewing your lack of knowledge all over the place, it is obvious you have no idea what you are saying, just because you read a book doesn't make you the all mighty knowing tuner
