Default obd1 or 2

which one would be better in a 99 civic with a b18c1 swap? obd1 or 2?

obd1 is more tuneable from what i've heard. and more user friendly.

OBD1

Get a P72 ECU and an OBD2a to OBD1 ECU jumper harness.

Trust... if he has a 99, wouldn't he need an OBD2b - OBD1 conversion (not 2a)?

+1 for seeing that yes he need a obd2b for 99-00
because the 96-98 have obd2a (fixed my typo)

Nah bull! lol it's probably a typo, but it's obd2a for 96-98.

Yea, you're right, it's OBD2b. I remember replying to this thread... I even scrolled up to look when I replied. I don't know why I said OBD2b. lol
