Okay well I'm bored and since there are a few threads poping up about what everyone else is doing with their cars I will try to keep this updated a little better also for all you picture ****** out there.

I ordered the porportioning valve last week but it hasn't gotten here yet, the rotors are here, and I only have like $340 left so I can't really afford much more until I get the insurance money. (Which I havn't heard from them since last week)[:@].

Here is a few more pictures of the damage:

Tire with cut in it from quarter pannel being pressed against it and paint all messed up:

dam it really did crush that sucker....
BUT i would recomend adjustable camber arms... that way if it did even slightly bend the top frame part a alignment shop can just adjust the camber so it looks and drives right....
adjustable parts work wonders for cars that are slightly bent!
it worked for my old 94 which had something bent upfront. i replaced the upper control arm with a adjustable one and the alignment shop straightened the wheel right out.

if i where you id also keep calling the insurance people and find out whats going on!!!!!!! and keep calling them!

also definatly take pleanty of pictures of what your doing..... andkeep the bad parts.... otherwise they might try some BS like "look it doesnt look to bad"
but either way. GOOD LUCK WITH THE INSURANCE PEOPLE!!!!!!!!! hope you get paid soon.

You don't think that the washer trick with longer bolts will work as well?

I'm also thinking that since I pretty much have to repaint the entire drivers side I might as well put a little more work into it and shave the trim but I'm not sure how well it will turn out. What do you guys think?

ya it might work..... but think of it this way.... upgrade for future suspension changes
buy a camber kit and any alignment shop will set it perfect every time.... the washer trick you gotta guess and hope its right cause im sure they dont want to mess with (the washer trick)LOL

its your choice tho. you gotta buy a new upper arm anyways. im guessing 30-40bucks new from dealership each. you dont need a expensive camber kit. i used these on my old 94 front camber, and rear toe adjusters. both very similar do names like skunk, just a few short cuts, but still good quality.
tho with my 99civic i decided to go with skunk2 since im alittle more show on this ride plus ill be adjusting the suspension at least twice a year! so i splerged.

and IMO shaving the moldings doesnt look that good....... just to smooth on the sides IMO. i like the little moldings to kinda break up the curves alittle. just paint them to match. BUT everyones got there opinion..... if you like it go for it! but i would just do it with bondo so you can always just sand it out.

good luck either way!
