ok as a few of you may know I have a 02 civic dx coupe. Anyway the other day my buddy thinks he will sit on my hood he bent it all to **** I now need a new hood I jus tgo tthis car 5 months ago its gonna cost me 500 for a oem hood and then over 300 for paint an labout grand total 886 bucks I am so mad

 

i can see that for a price...i would check out scrap yards man, dont go tho..just call, because the new cars they keep in the back, you might luck out...so i guess its a big dent?

yeah its the size of his *** lol prob 10 inch wide plus little dings and scratches. yeah I don't want one from junk yard the car is only 4 years old I want to hol dthe value as much as possible how much for a carbon fiber one tho

 

^ if you want to hold the avlue the CF hood would decrase it, cause when you wanna sell it normal folk wouldn't be interested in it. and the OEM hood from the scrap yard would retain more value with the car, since it is factory. and if HE bent your hood, why are you paying for it??

find a good oem one in a junk yard the same color and have your friend buy it . if you ever sell the car and someone see's the hood has been painted that might kill a sell

 

Yeah man, no matter how good of friends you are, he needs to be paying for it. AND if he is a good friend, you shouldent even have to ask him to pay, if i f**ed up a friends car, i would not even hesitate to tell them ill pay to fix it.
