I saw one at napa for a D16Y7 for $81. You say that it will fit my engine soI might try that. I read some where a while back that the oil pan gasket are different though that they are either flat or other due to the groove in the pan? Should I just buy the same gasket for a D16Y7 engine or a D16Y8?

Yeah, d16y7 oil pan will fit on your car and the gasket are different. You need to get d16y7 gasket.

I found an oil pan for $20 should I bother or just buy a new one? Its posted in the classifieds on honda-tech.net

If it's an EX aluminum one, then I would jump on it, but make sure thatthey can guarantee the drain bolt threads aren't boogered(stripped) out.
