Old Skool New Skool?!?!
So I'm new to this with a 89 civic DX...cleaned it up pretty nice and CAI with exhaust.. Tired of it and Ready for the car I've always wanted 99-00 Si... Hard to find them stock and they are not cheap when they are in good shape... Wondering what the major difference between a Si and a normal civic.. maybe a stupid question but I'm learning... Will it be worth it to find an Si or can I work with a normal civic... Any stats on performance differences?! Thanks!

If you want an Si, go for it, you won't be let down. Basic differences between, let's say an Ex and an Si are as follows...
Ex = SOHC 1.6l - Rated at 127 bhp from the factory
Si = DOHC 1.6l - Rated at 160 bhp from the factory
Plus the Si has better brakes (discs in rear, EX has drums [mostly, you can find EXs with rear disc, but it's pretty rare])
Plus with the Si you get the nice lip kit and a better interior.
