a friend of mine has an audi tt 2005, i looked in her driver side door and passenger side door and could not find paint code, does anyone know where else the paint code could be located??

 

its in the vin isnt it? and maybe check the firewall? I dont know

 

there should be a sticker right inside your drivers door that tells you what your paint code is.

 

yea in my friends audi tt it did not have a sticker [sm=headbang.gif]

 

Was the car repainted? cause all vehicles are supposed to have the information on the inside of the drivers side door

 

it was in a n accident and body work was done and painted however the color was kept the same, u think they forgot to put the sticker back???

 

Most likely if it isn't there, then i would imagine they were douches and didn't put it back... but technically they aren't suposed to remove it

ok i may have been mistaken about the location for the color code location... check underneath the trunk carpet in the spare tire compartment on the right side... that is where it is on the Audi A4 aparently so it may be there on the TT

 

It should be inside the drivers door sill. They shuold have removed it or painted over it because it has the vin number and all that jazz on it too.
