i think i needed 3/4 gallon paint
cost me $280 for base clear and the other stuff(at the painters price)
you should get some high build primer(jug cost $130 used about a quarter of it)

Default to do it right?

If you are going to go thru the motions and do it properly you will need atleast 2 quarts primer probably 3 and 3 quarts clear, but this all depends on how indepth you are going to get with it. I've been laying down paint now for 8 yrs, so just ask if you have any other questions.
