Default RE: PLEASE HELP

find the actual engine code located on a flat part of the engine block, to the left of the exhaust manifold.

that will siginificantly help you in figuring out the parts you need for repairs

Default RE: PLEASE HELP

the code on the block is the same as the one on the compliance plate
the main problem im having is with the rocker cover seal, the one thats on there at the moment is leaking and dont fit properly,i thoughtthe sealwas for a different engineand the previous owner had just slaped it in there hoping it would work but it didnt.I went and got another one for the EW5 engine but its the same as the one thats already in there. So i think the engine number is wrong some how(highly unlikely)or it has a different rocker cover on it.
I've tried to serch for pics of the EW5 engine on the net to see if its the same but i cant find any.its really starting to **** me
