PLEASE HELP!!!!!

i have a 2000 civic si b16a2 and it calls for 93 oct fuel i was woundering would it hurt my motor to just run 87 oct becuse gas prices are just to high please help

Theres a knock sensor that detects it, but i would highly recommend against it. The si NEEDS 93 octane
