pretty much...fight the ticket

 

yea i had the same exhaust one my 99 coupe and i fought that **** with the same argument , and they said my 4 1/2 inch tip is too big.... lol which it was too big and rediculous. but i won the case becasue they are 50 state legal no matter how loud it is.... now has anyone had a ticket or a blow off valve... i havent but my buddy(in an SRT-4 of course) now does anyone know if that is a chargable offense?

 

I guess they could but what they gonna charge him with, too loud of an intake? lol

Here is what I dont get. I live in GA and every redneck has a truck or a motorcycle with and exhaust that is many times louder than anything we could have on our cars. Do they ever get pulled over, or even looked at? The cops around here are always watching me when I drive by but dont even look at the truck with the V8 and cherrybomb muffler. It pisses me off!!!!!

 

Its because the cops are rednecks and they love huge V8 exhausts that are loud as hell. I live in a small town in Missouri and all the hicks have huge exhausts. Some dont even have cats. They never get pulled over. I havent been pulled over either so I really cant complain. And about the weed thing: it doesnt matter if its your friends or not. If its in your car, you are responsible for it.

 

50 state legal refers to emissions, not noise

 

Yeah fifty states legal is for emissions, but in most states, at least here in utah, there is no law against how loud your exhaust is until 10 to 6 at night. And for the weed man, don't have that in your car. I speak from experiance, i got away for having that in my car for years, but its a fact thats the easiest way to get catched, its not worth it. I spent time in jail and over a $5000 dollar fine for that crap. keep it at home.
