just a quick question I was wondering why do you have to unhook the battery when you install the cai if you don't unhook the battery what will happen.

 

you dont need to un-hook it, they tell you to unhook your battery for everything you do on your car, like i sead, you dont need to unhook it

the only thing you might what to do it unhook it for 2 seconds after you install your intake then hook it back up then take a drive so your computer will get used to the new intake, <<--this is what iv heard, most people dont do it, i never did it and i never had a problem

 

Just likes mill$civic said, they tell you to unhook your batt for every little thing. I did my CAI and I didn't unhook it. I've heard in the past where if you have any type of digital amp (sound system )you have to re-tune them. Its a pain. Nothing will happen though when it comes to CAI.
