So what would you need to do to a civic to beat a 2003 Mach 1 Mustang 4.6L V8, 305 HP I know it would cost a lot and also is any one here able to beat it in a quarter mile? it seems way fast...

 

a few thousand... a good turbo setup, a cam/upgraded valvetrain, an intake mani, etc... that should do it. And I'm sure there's people here that have cars fast enough to beat one.

all the mach 1s are just gts with a shaker scoop and some graphics, they're nothing special performnace wise

on second thought, they might be cobras that have been rebadged, but I dont think they are superchared..idk

 

That mustang will spank you, face it. FWD 4cyl. don't race RWD 8cyl. unless they have an UNGODLY amount of work done to them. That mustang could have less than $1000 in it and push numbers you'll never see.
