Default question

i want to know what the metal bar is called that connects to the spring the wheel and the body... its like a foot and a half long and got bent when i smashed my wheel into a sidewalk drifting lol

Lower Control Arm?


Also I wouldn't consider it drifting unless you're in a RWD

thanks thats it... i know its not really drifting but its hella fun and my drive wheels are spinning so hell why not lol ... thanks bro

No worries. Good luck on getting it replaced. Try to DIY to save money It shouldn't be that bad to do.

Is the bar seen in the either diagram? Or is it a steering tie rod?

^i'd imagine it's the rear wheel... i don't know how you would lose control of a FWD car drift and have the front wheel hit the curb. Usually when losing control around a corner on FWD, the rear slides out and would be what hits the curb.

its the lower arm ron ... and it was the driver rear wheel... good call trustdestruction lol

Local junkyards should have plenty of good used ones. It is not hard to replace, it just bolts on, but an impact wrench is very useful for loosening those big bolts.
