Default Rear-view Mirror

I am referring to the one mounted on the windshield.

Does anyone know a way to stiffen up the mirror so that it doesn't move around so easy? Mine gradually sinks due to my subwoofers, and I'm wondering if there's a way I can stiffen it up so this doesn't happen.

yea that's what i read on the thread i found by searching.

one question though:

I tried to pull the pieces apart to expose the ball so that I could wrap electrical tape around it, but it was on there pretty good. I didn't want to break it so I didn't pull really hard. If I pull it really hard should it come apart without breaking? Is that what you would do to take it apart?

You could try a drop or two of Elmer glue should hold it so it wont move with the bass, shouldn't be to hard to break free either.
