Default Replacing Door Speakers on 4th Gen Civic Hatchback

Hi Guys,

I just bought my 1st 4th gen civic and only one out of two door speakers are working.
How do you remove the plastic speaker grill on the door card to get access to the speaker? I know there are two screws you need to remove on the edge of the speaker grill by opening either of the two doors, but then there is still something holding it back and I can not remove it.

Please help me.

To remove, just pull the screws, and pull the cover off. Its kinda hard, but it will come off. Just be careful not to bust it. I believe I used a flat head to help pry it of carefully.

yeah just use a flat head like punisher said.
i think there is little legs around the cover that keep it in place. (on my 93 there is)
just stick a screw driver in between and pull carefully.
