Rev Limiter VTEC

Can u remove the rev-limiter from EGcivics if so, any1 know how??

i was watching something on youtube i think it was JDM tuning they was putting some new ECU in EK civics and they was revving to like 9k+ RPM's ,,,, MaaaaaD.

Rev limiters are there for a reason...if they were going to 9000, then it probabaly had an aftermarket cam.

To answer you're question, yes you can.

If you rev a stock eg to 9k+ rpms it will blow up.

Not to mention pistons, rods, crank, cam gear valve train, hell the engine probably had like $6K worth of work to it to be able to go to 9000Rpm and not blow
