Local honda man has a car he is building and wants to race some of my friends...we all called BS because he says his project is a secret. So he sent me this pic of the engine...Keep in mind I think he may have painted the valve covers but it is for sure a B series (16 or 18??) and I think I can see some oil cooler lines...boosted B16?? Any help would be appreciated.

well what ever he has keep it on the race track....

 

or on an abandoned road in the middle of nowhere....or in europe, there's some closeddown public roads that are open to legal street racing...or in the desert

 

EDIT: i'm positive that's a B16

 

Chevy 350 four bolt main with a high riser intake manifold and a Holley 1150cfm four barrel double pumper carb.

 

JT-8 jet engine

 

Don't be scared, worst case scenario its a boosted b16, or a b18c5. Kinda hard to tell by the valve cover though..

 

i looked and b16 and b18 have the same valve cover, so this picture can't tell us anything most likely.

 

wow, he's going to beat you with a b series valve cover??

 

A/C is gone, but that doesn't mean much. Usually its pulled so you can run a decent sized turbo, but lots of ricers pull them out because they think it makes the car faster, lol
