royal blue motor oil

Default royal blue motor oil

i found some royal blue motor oil i need 5w-30, not sure how much it was but i know that stuff is pricey, i think i need 4 quarts am i rite? also does it matter that i wasnt using synthetic oil before and now i plan to use it and is thier really a big difference between royal blue and other motor oils?

do u mean Royal Purple? Royal Blue is wax...i believe u take 3.5qts, check the owners manual. as long as u didnt have any leaks previously, then switching to synthetic should be alright.

I have Royal Purple in my mine right now. I have been running it for the last year and a half now. (not the same oil, I change it and all. LOL) I love it. I also used it in my tranny since there is no stealership to get the real stuff at around here.

I say go for it. Yeah it cost more, but its really good. My engine is all nice and clean. See:

read the cap on your engine or better yet, use the search feature of this forum to pull up threads on oil.

it is also clearly stated in your manual.

holy shiznat. look at the valve jam nut locations.

you could do a valve adjustment in like zero seconds flat. lol.
