Default Is she getting old?

hey guys im just wondering, my96 siis pretty much bone stock but i have plans for it. its already got an intake and i have a header on order. and i was just reading posts on here and something came to mind about my engine... in about 2 weeks she's gonna hit 200,000 km which is very sad, and im wondering if i should start to worry about replacing certains things on the engine for it to last longer, and before i start adding anything else... so far the ultimate plan is going to be i/h/e, lowering, then wheels etc., but if its got this much mileage on the engine is this a point i shoulder start worrying / fixing things? and im a complete car n00b so nothing comes to mind for me lol, thanks in advance

Have you replace your timing belt...when was the last time you did????[&:]

If you maintain it properly she should run just fine..My friend sold his 95 civic with over 260,000 miles onit.. was running like a champ

200000 kilometers = 124274.238 miles
Alright, no its not too much because civic can go upto 200k in miles. so you still have plenty of fun left in that car.

yeh im waiting for a good excuse to swap, the gf cant justify spending that money on a engine when theirs already a working one in their, as far as i know the gearbox (other than timing belt etc) is the only thing that has been changed, and that was because the previous owner dropped it from 5th gear to 2nd (dumb ***) it may have just been luck, but my honda really is living up to his name.
