Question here......my 2006 Si has a damn shift indicator light. Pretty lame. It starts flashing its little red light at me and it drives me crazy. I know when to shift. I go street race on fri or sat sometimes, and I'm going down the street, racing a Tc with intake, exhaust and header. Mine is stock.........the stupid little red light flashes, it catches my attention, and I don't catch 2nd like I wanted....as I am paying attention to this dumb light..I have a.d.d. lol. needless to say, I won, but only by a bumper at the quarter mile. GAY!!! I should have smoked him. I was going to put some black tape over it, but thats ghetto. How do I disconnect this thing? Its really annoying.

take the bulb out. and problem solved. or take it to a shop and see if they can do it. the si dash looks complicated so if it was me i would just learn to deal with it.

 

A small piece of electrical tape on the dash and viola... Seriously, learn to ignore it.
