Is it bad that I regularly shift at about 7000?

[sm=joke.gif] I get double-clutching, just cuz my dad was a semi-driver but can someone please explain granny-shifting to me? Never heard it before F&tF!

shifting at 7,000 rpm will send your motor to an early grave.

That aint anything, i was running a p08 base map with a p30 rev limiter and red line. I could peg that tach out like nothing.

just a note: double-clutching isn't useless...when you're downshifting and double-clutch, you actually save your synchros....but for me it's just a damned habit after driving ZAZ and KRAZ back in UA

I pretty much never shift under 3k, regularly, I'm around 4-4.5k daily driving.

I usually shift between 3-3.5k when im daily driving and 4.5 when im with my friends. I try to keep my rpm's lower because the catback i have on (apexi n1) is so freaking loud.
