Hello guys, Im actually pretty new to civics, so I would greatly appreciate some advice. http://phoenix.craigslist.org/evl/cto/1897993716.html this is the ad...car has nos ac..I guess they swapped in a d16z6? also says odometer not working says it shows about 150k mi when really 140k? Could this be some shady swap? says he would drop price to 1800, and after speaking with him I think I can even get him to lower it more...I'm just worried that there could be some hidden problems or something...what do you guys think?

 

try to talk him down to 1500, that would be my opinion. it needs work, and with the money you put into it if you paid 1800 would be more than its worth. thats my opinion.

any car that has that **** in it has been drivin' to **** trust me just bought my car 2 weeks ago in this same situation so many hidden problems, coming back to haunt me. I payed 500 so its worth it to fix, but if you pay more than 8 for that car your getting molested.

 

I would keep looking. When trying to find myself a civic i looked at ones like this and even test drove some. Theres better civics out there for the same or similar price, and in way better condition. I would offer 800 if you want it, but if he wont go that low, just find a different one. Good luck!
