what was the prob cause my buddys oldsmobile did the same thing but now none of them work.. altho it is funny watching him get soaking wet sticking half of his body out the window going down the highway manually moving the wipers lmao

 

The problem with mine was the linkage that goes from the passenger side wiper to the driver side wiper. Its a ball-in-socket kind of connection. Over the years, the connection gets bad, and my ended up breaking. At the time, I didn't have much income to fix the issue at hand. Rather, I just went with the flow and improvised. It actually worked pretty damn well. I actually didn't really notice after a while.
