Si?.....or not?
I just purchased a 92 civic Hatchback Si with 157,000 miles for $1400. I was wondering if it really is a si or not? When i look on cars.com they list that 92 civic si came with power windows and alloy wheels, which i have neither of. I have some crappy hub cap wheels and roll down windows. Is it an Si or not? What other things make a 92 civic hb an obvious si? Thanks for your help.

RE: Si?.....or not?
Check this code with the car in the engine: B16A 1.6 16V DOHC VTEC PGM-FI 1595 170hp@7800rpm 116tq@7300rpm 92-95 Civic
If that aint it, dont buy it! |

RE: Si?.....or not?
a 92 si is only listed as having 125 hp anyways, is there a thing on here to compare the VIN?

RE: Si?.....or not?
Just went out and looked all over the engine bay, the only thing on the engine itself is H Honda. There is nothing else anywhere. Just the Vin in a few spots. I also noticed that there is a screw missing out of the head! haha what a piece of junk. But yeah, Si or no? I'd really like to know how to tell the difference.

Look harder. There should be an engine stamp on the block somewhere.
