Default si transfer(partial)

I drive a 91 Honda Civc CX Hatchback. It is still in good shape with only 80,000 miles. I am going to try to convert it a tad into Si type specs. I researched on a few sites and many Honda Civic DX were running 14's. I couldn't figure it out and then I looked at their mods and found that many of them were Si conversions mainly with a change to a Si ECU, manifold, and probably exhaust. My buddy has a Honda Civc Si hatchback and is parting it out. What iin particular do you think I can convert that would make this car at least a tad fas?. Thanks.

at least the mpfi conversion, not only will you gain some power but you will gain better throttle response. next up would be the transmission, the gearing in the si will deffinatly help out your acceleration. finally upgrading the engine to at least a 1.6.
