Si Vs Type R

Default Si Vs Type R

Im just starting to getin the tuners and was Wondering whats a better engine?
The Integra Type-R engine or just the Si. Im going to be building a prelude or Civic. I was just wondering if it is even worth swap a type R. I know small block chevys and hemis but this is something compelety new for me. Any info well help thank you

the ITR B18C is better than any B16 SI engine but I would not put any of them in a prelude, hell I dont even think you can.

I'd go with an h22 in either of them. Just my opinion.

well if your building a cvic up then go h22 if you want speed(which it sounds like you do) and if you are going to build a prelude your already set, because hey come stock with h22's. allyou have to do there is go after market intake and other things of that sort.
i personally would go civic, not because im biased but because then you have to work to get that speed, it doesn't just come with it.
