That's a pretty general question but you could get i/h/e to upgrade your engine performance or get some rims/tires/suspension to improve handling and appearance. Depends on your budget and goals for the car.

I want to improve performance. I can figure out appearance on my own, but i need some place to start with performance. What are good brands and important parts to get first?

Your going to have to be a tad more specific about everything esp. with how much your willing to spend.

I'd start with a plan, a Factory Service Manual from Honda, and whatever maintenance the car needs. The manual will pay for itself the first time you have to use it.

When you're doing the maintenance, ask yourself if any of the parts you'll be replacing can be upgraded to fit into your plan. For example, if you're replacing your airfilter it might be a good time to upgrade to a better intake/filter setup. If you're replacing your tires it'd bea good time to get an upgradedtire/wheel package. If you're replacing suspension bushingsget a completepoly kit instead of OEM rubber. If you're replacing your clutch, but keeping your existing tranny, get a better clutch and look into a limited-slip.

Other upgrades...Ya just do 'em when ya can.

www.hondahookup.com

join it and you can download the manual for it right off the site in .pdf

if you don't like that idea or you have too slow a connection, I bought one for five bucks off ebay that's on a burnt disc. I like that better than the full shop manual. I can spend ten minutes looking it over and printing out exactly what pages I need. that way I'm not all dirty and destroying my expensive *** 2000 page book all the time. I just have a few pages with what I need and it dosen't matter if they get messed up..

2 crisb226: I'd like to advise you one thing. At first make up your mind- U want to modd ya engine increasing HP or tune car's appearance. If u r not a crazy driver start the appearance modding ( crystal head- and backlights, moldings, chrome, use some orakal to make ya car more exclusive, well you know). Of course it's all depends on ya available cash. Good luck!

I would suggest using the search feature of this site to look at other discussions we have had about various tuning/performance mods.

Also, unless it's your thing, I would say that you should make that car reliable and fun to drive before you dump a boatload of money into making it flashy. And remember, cops LIKE flashy.
