i dont know, i only push the clutch in as far as i have to to shift, why push it in all the way if you dont have to?

If you look in the honda manual it tells you to push the clutch in all the way to prevent premature wear.

Mill, this is definitely what you don't recommend to an unskilled "shifter", but when person is experienced enough to be able to tell where clutch is fully disengaged and is lazy enough not to push it all the way down, I don't really see a problem...

Well I think I got it a little bit,

I started to let the clutch out a little and when it started to give a little, I gave it some gas, and smooth sailing.

Needto practice a little bit, but is that how you do your gentle launch?

For everyone that has driven a stick for a while, it is all muscle memory. Once you've driven for a month or so it should be "instinct."

It took you a week!? 168 hours to learn how to drive a stick. Pete you are a slacker if it took you that long.
