To strip out... or not?
You might think this is stupid-
I'm stuck between the two at the moment and wondered what you guys think.
Should I strip out my hatchwhich meanslosing my sound system or do I keep it allin.
Has anyone striped out there hatch - have you noticed any differance.
Really I want to get rid of as much weight as possable without loosingmy system.
Any ideas?
Thanks

RE: To strip out... or not?
First, sorry - wrong section.
Its a daily driver at the mo but would like to turn into a track car when I get a pay rise.
92 Hatch - slow one (LSi uk) 1.5 SOHC Non-Vtec. (at the moment looking to swap)
16 x 7 Bk wheels, 40 mm lowered, custom exhaust & induction kit (STD Header). So called "proformace"plugs, leads, fuel filter, etc.
not much at the moment.
Music, well:
2 Amps (JBL & SPLX)
2 Subs (10 & 12")
6 x 9" ' s & componets.
It just about fits so i assume its effecting the handling.

RE: To strip out... or not?
well, I wouldnt bother stripping the interior until you're ready to make it a non-DD. Stripped cars are typically quite loud, may get annoying on your day to day driving. I mean, if you want to do it, feel free it's your car. I'm just trying to make you aware that its not exactly...comfortable
no worries on the wrong section, it happens

RE: To strip out... or not?
I have stripped out two of my cars and in the long run i regretted it both times....it would make no sense to get rid of the interior and keep the system as the issystem def heavier....i would keep it all in until you ready to dedicate it to racing...
