Super Soaker Civic...
are u sure someone was not messing with u and filled ur muffler up with water when ur not looking ... i filled mine up one time for the hell of
it and that is the same way it looked when i reved it up someone is f ing with u i dont see how that could actually come from ur engine
unless its going to give birth

there is no way in hell that is normal. If it is, some one please tell me the chemical reaction between petro and O2. You might have a little condensation in the exhaust sometimes, but thats way to much. Id get that checked out.
As for someone messing with the car. There is no way.
Lets try this. Someone with a D16Y8 try letting your car idle for 10-15 mins. Then rev it to 7000 RPMs and see if the same thing happens.

I think I figured it out. I had let it idle more like an hour (I realized we had all been talking for about an hour before the shop teacher walked out.) So I think that because it was really cold here and it idled so long the water built up in the muffler and then when I revved it it blew out.

That was what I was thinking. Anyone else?

i agree - the drain hole in the muffler may be clogged - its a small hole to begin with

Alright, time for a Chemistry lesson:
Hydrocarbon (gas) + O2 ----> CO2 + H2O + SO2 (if sulphur is present in the hydrocarbon).
Generally this water comes out as steam, but condensation will build up in your exhaust. I'm guessing it was cold outside where you did this? High revving will build up a lot of condensation and blow it out of the exhaust. The same thing happened to me the other day, although not quite as drastically.
